AGRM is a multi-faceted claims consulting firm which, amongst other things, provides full-service Third- Party Claims Adjusting to external insurance clients. The Claims Department is currently looking to expand to accommodate work related to a large contract with a State Insurance Department. This is a new role, working alongside existing claims team members with similar skill sets, reporting to the Claims Manager. The position will provide strong technical support, utilizing in-house claims systems for claims management and payments, as well as Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking and reporting on claim data. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an insurance claims department, ideally with some background knowledge in long-tail latent claims, such as environmental pollution or asbestos related liabilities.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Support the claims department in compiling and analyzing claim data.
Compile coverage charts .
Work with claims team and actuarial colleagues to compile data to support the allocation and projection of long-tail latent liabilities.
Assist with reserve, settlement and commutation calculations and allocations.
Assist with allocation and processing of payments.
Communicate effectively with external parties to gather and disseminate information.
Provide clear, concise, and accurate management information on a regular and ad hoc basis as required.
Accurate, reliable, with excellent attention to detail and an analytical approach
Production of high-quality work product essential
Knowledge and experience with claim data analysis
Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
Able to demonstrate a flexible approach and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and build relationships with colleagues at all levels
Self-motivated, keen to learn and take on new tasks as requested
High levels of organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
Experience with latent claims (asbestos, environmental, sexual abuse) is a plus
Knowledge of common CGL insurance policy terms and conditions is a plus
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience
3-5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the insurance industry
Proficiency with current Microsoft Office products, with strong skills in Excel
Special Requirements:
Possible occasional requirement to work from different office locations in US, to meet with colleagues as needed.
Location: Philadelphia. PA or Quincy, MA Area Preferred, but willing to hire in any other US states with an EST Time Zone.
